Purchase of Products and Returns Policy
In using the Purchase Services to purchase the Product through the Website, you will agree to the payment of the purchase price listed on the Website for the Product (the ‘Purchase Price‘).
Following payment of the Purchase Price being confirmed by Shreddies Australia Pty Ltd, you will be issued with a receipt to confirm that the payment has been received and Shreddies Australia Pty Ltd may record your purchase details for future use.
Shreddies Australia Pty Ltd may, at their sole discretion, provide a refund on the return of the Products within 30 days where the Product packaging is unopened and remains in a saleable condition. You acknowledge and agree that you are liable for any postage and shipping costs associated with any refund pursuant to this clause.
Shreddies allows for some backorders to be made. You will be prompted upon purchase if the item is out of stock and if backorders are accepted for the product. Backorders are usually received within 2-3 weeks. Whilst most backorders are delivered before this timeframe, due to COVID-19 postal service impacts, some backorders may experience delays. We will provide an estimated timeframe for your backorder in your customer account.
Returns are valid within 1 month of purchase providing they haven’t been worn or washed and are still in the original packaging. Please ensure that you try your Shreddies on for size over a clean pair of your own underwear, so that you can return them for an exchange if necessary.
Please enclose your order number and reason for returning in the package. If you’re seeking a refund for an unwanted item, postage will not be refunded unless the product is faulty. All exchanges are made at the cost of the customer and postage will also be charged to send out your replacement items.
We do not accept responsibility for goods lost in transit, therefore we strongly recommend that you send returns by registered post and retain proof of posting / tracking number.
To request a refund, you must provide proof of purchase to Shreddies Australia Pty Ltd showing the date of purchase of the Products, provide a description of the Products and the price paid for the Products. The product return mailing address is:

Lost Mail Orders
All orders sent via Australia Standard or Express Post includes insurance of up to $100.00. If your item has been lost in transit we will contact Australia Post to request an investigation into the missing mail item. Australia Post generally require 5 working days on all investigations and may require additional time to investigate your lost item, at our discretion we may require the investigation to be finalised before we replace or refund your missing mail order.
Shreddies Australia Pty Ltd’s Products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For sales within Australia, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure of the Product and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the Products repaired or replaced if the Products fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure (the ‘Warranty ‘).
You may make a claim under this clause (the ‘Warranty Claim‘) for material defects and workmanship in the Products within 1 month from the date of purchase (the ‘Warranty Period‘).
In order to make a Warranty Claim during the Warranty Period, you must provide proof of purchase to Shreddies Australia Pty Ltd showing the date of purchase of the Products, provide a description of the Products and the price paid for the Products by sending written notice to Shreddies Australia Pty Ltd at PO BOX 724 Thuringowa Central, Queensland, 4817, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 1300 182 040.
Where the Warranty Claim is accepted then Shreddies Australia Pty Ltd will, at its sole discretion, either repair or replace any defective Products or part thereof with a new or remanufactured equivalent during the Warranty Period at no charge to you for parts or labour. You acknowledge and agree that you will be solely liable for any postage or shipping costs incurred in facilitating the Warranty Claim.
The Warranty shall be the sole and exclusive warranty granted by Shreddies Australia Pty Ltd and shall be the sole and exclusive remedy available to you in addition to other rights and under a law in relation to the Products to which this warranty relates.
All implied warranties including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for use are limited to the Warranty Period.
The Warranty does not apply to any appearance of the supplied Products nor to the additional excluded items set forth below nor to any supplied Products where the exterior of which has been damaged or defaced, which has been subjected to misuse, abnormal service or handling, or which has been altered or modified in design or construction.
The Warranty does not apply if you:
- Changed your mind, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it
- Misused a product in any way that caused the problem
- Did not take appropriate care or apply correct washing instructions
Caring/Washing your Shreddies Garments
Shreddies should be washed at 40c in a washing machine using Soda Crystals. Please do not use – Fabric Softener, Soap or Detergents, these products will clog up the carbon filter and stop them working immediately. Please use a large scoop of Soda Crystals in each wash (110-210ml).
Dry the underwear in a tumble dryer on a medium heat or over a radiator until all moisture is removed.
